Councillor Fundamentals
For anyone wishing to understand more about the "fundamentals" of being a local councillor. This course is aimed at newly elected or co-opted councillors as well as continuing councillors seeking a refresher.

Officers who book the event will be supplied with the link to the Zoom meeting ahead of the event to be passed to those councillors booked on the training.

Please note, there are no “provisional” bookings.  Submission of this form will constitute a booking and all bookings will be invoiced. The invoice will be sent automatically upon booking. Wiltshire Association of Local Councils reserves the right to cancel an event if there is insufficient interest or in the event of illness or irresolvable technical issues. In the case of the latter two reasons, we will try to reschedule as soon as possible.

This two hour training session is aimed at new parish, town and city (local councillors) and is suitable for returning councillors seeking a refresher. it is delivered by Zoom. This first tranche of post-election training is only open to those councils in membership of Wiltshire Association of Local Councils (WALC).
