Wiltshire Association of Local Councils has an Executive Committee made up of representatives of member councils in Wiltshire and Swindon.
Two representatives from each community area in Wiltshire are permitted on the Executive Committee, which includes, where relevant, a member from each town over a population of 8,000.
Elections for places on this committee take place every four years.
The current chairman of WALC is Councillor Mrs Paula Winchcombe, member representative from Devizes Town Council in Kennet.. Vice-chairman is Councillor Clyde Hoddinott of Potterne Parish Council.
Honorary Treasurer to the Association is Mr Malcolm Powell.
Meetings of the Executive Committee take place on a quarterly basis in the months of March, June, September and December, usually at Wyndhams in Devizes on a Monday evening. The Annual General Meeting is held in October.
The next meeting of the Executive Committee will be held on Monday 07 December 2009.
